Debbie loves the new Travelers insurance commercial – The spot showcases a very cute dog looking for a safe place to hide his bone. He buries it, hides it and even goes as far as to take a bus to the bank to place it in a safety deposit box. But then nightmares send him back to the bank to retrieve it. The bone is only truly safe when under the umbrella of Travelers. It’s well done and very entertaining. Here’s a link.

Jennifer loves spitfiregirl.com – This is a cool and funky site with all kinds of unusual gift items.  You’ll find everything from party favors and pinatas to postcards and pillows!  My favorite is the cherrywood bookmarks.  Some of my fellow book-reading friends may just wind up with one as a little gift for birthdays or Christmas.

Susan loves Nathan Fillion – If you don’t know Nathan Fillion, you need to. He’s the star of the canceled-before-its-time cult show Firefly and my new favorite show, Castle. He’s funny and adorable, and seems very sincere in his interaction with the world. And he’s really embracing the whole social aspect of social media. Just last week he tweeted “I want to learn about you. Tell me a secret that you are embarrassed about.” And I seriously considered @replying. He seems like the type who would actually read the responses and not make fun of me too bad.
