There are lots of educators out there actively promoting the use of new media and social media tool such as Twitter and Facebook in higher education. I am one of them! I am an adjunct at George Washington University and use SM in almost all the sessions I teach. I'm also part of a national organization called Social Media Club Education Connection, which is working to build support of technology integration in the classroom. Take a look at http://smcedu.ning.com/ and join our chats on Monday at 12:30 EST if you want! Nice post
