What is it that they use to determine what I would like to see in the News feed? I scroll through the live feed looking for things that interest me. I stop and read the comment but I don't click anything in that comment. Very rarely do I comment. And even rarer still do I click the "like" button. I would guess that they track my comments and my likes to determine the proper values to filter the live feed and present that in the news feed?

I hate the news feed because I want to see things as they are posted. I've changed this countless times and it always comes back up with the news feed showing. There should be a way to set your default preference.
