After last night’s Emmy’s, what was once popular opinion is now official: AMC’s golden child, “Mad Men“, is the best drama on television! The show won in six categories and made history when it beat contenders like Boston Legal, Lost and House for best series of the year-the first time for a basic-cable show. The series, which highlights the golden age of advertising, also won for best writing, outstanding hairstyling, outstanding art direction, outstanding main title design and outstanding cinematography.
